This Webinar shares a reflection space on how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting Peace and Security and how academia and the Blanquerna-IEP Masters degree in Peace, Conflict and Security Studies are able to solve these current issues.
Watch IEP’s Director of Operations, Europe & MENA, Serge Stroobants talk about Positive Peace and how IEPs research is more relevant than ever in the current pandemic climate.
The Masters Degree has been designed in collaboration with IEP and is taught with the participation of IEP experts as well as professors from Blanquerna-Ramon Llull University and other leading institutions.
IEP is the world’s leading think tank dedicated to developing metrics to analyse peace and to quantify its economic value. It does this by developing global and national indexes such as the Global Peace Index, the Global Terrorism Index and the Positive Peace Index.
In addition, the think tank calculates the economic cost of violence, and analyses country level risk to conflict and ecological threats. The Institute has also developed leading research on the understanding of the concept and practice of sustainable peace.
