Global Terrorism Index Analysis- Southern Africa Ambassadors Edition

The 2023 Global Terrorism Index (GTI) is an annual report produced by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP). In its 10th edition, the 2023 GTI  provides a comprehensive summary of the key global trends and patterns in terrorism. With its unique scoring system measuring the direct and indirect impact of terrorism in 163 countries, the report also provides insights on how terrorism has evolved over the past decade. This year’s edition offers some valuable insights that will help policymakers understand where terrorist groups are most present and what has led to their growth.

Southern African Ambassadors will engage in a panel discussion delving into the Global Terrorism Index. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights from one of the foremost surveys on terrorism.
