The Global Peace Index launched yesterday to extensive press coverage, an in-depth article from the UK’s The Telegraph and broadcast interviews with CNN, Al Jazeera, and Channel News Asia. 

Now in its fourteenth year, this year’s Global Peace Index finds that the average level of global peacefulness deteriorated for the ninth time in twelve years in 2020. Overall, 87 countries improved in peacefulness, whilst 73 deteriorated.
