You are invited to the Positive Peace Conference 2019
Join IEP in California to explore new ways of creating and sustaining peace.
You are invited to the fourth annual Positive Peace Conference, titled ‘Building Partnerships through the Lens of Positive Peace’.
Join co-hosts the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) and Stanford’s Center for Latin American Studies for the free, all day conference that creates a forum to explore how strengthening peace in societies can improve economic outcomes, sustainability, social cohesion and resilience.
The conference will bring together academics, advocates, young people, civil society, government and business leaders to amplify their contributions to building peace.
Be one of the first to hear the latest findings from the Positive Peace Report, an annual empirical analysis of the factors that sustain peace. The Institute of Economics and Peace (IEP) will launch the 2019 edition of the report at the conference, with experts from the institute providing inside knowledge of the data based findings.
Make the most of networking opportunities at the event. The theme of this year’s event ‘Building partnerships through the lens of Positive Peace,’ highlights the importance of collaboration in creating the positive systemic change necessary for sustainable peace and development.
The 2019 Positive Peace Conference is a free, all-day event, which includes a complimentary breakfast, lunch and closing reception. There will also be an opening dinner on Tuesday, 29 October with details to be confirmed.
Registration for the event is essential. To register for the conference and find out more, please visit the 2019 Positive Peace Conference website here for the latest updates.
