Trade for Peace: Leveraging trade in COVID-19 response, using Positive Peace - Webinar

COVID-19, which has primarily started as a health crisis, has far-reaching implications on the international order, including on peace and security. While the pandemic crisis can disrupt or exacerbate on-going peace-building efforts, it can also direct the world to focus on peace as an enabler of economic prosperity and human resilience in a post-pandemic world where we believe multilateralism should continue to play a central role.

This webinar will explore how trade and business can build Positive Peace as well as the attitudes, structures and institutions that underpin and sustain peaceful societies.

Key speakers of the webinar are Steve Killelea AM, Founder and Executive Chairman of IEP and Ambassador Alan Wm Wolff, Deputy Director-General, WTO

The discussion with be moderated by Dr. Achim Wennmann, Executive Coordinator, Geneva Peacebuilding Platform
