Global Peace Index 2019 presentation in Barcelona
Find out more about global peacefulness and the latest data-driven research from the Institute for Economics and Peace.
You’re invited to a free event at Blaquerna University discussing the latest findings from the Global Peace Index 2019.
Join Serge Stroobants from the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), to discover the data from this year’s report – the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness.
Released annually by IEP, the report ranks 163 independent states and territories according to their level of peacefulness – 99.7 per cent of the world’s population – and presents the most comprehensive data-driven analysis to date on trends in peace, its economic value, and how to develop peaceful societies.
Stroobants will be joined by Miriam Diez Vice Dean of Research, Postgraduate Courses and International Relations from Blanquerna FCRI, and Ms Carme Colomina, a researcher and editor with Barcelona Centre for International Affairs and a member of the Board of International Catalan Institute for Peace.
There is no registration required for this event.
