Global Peace Index 2019 presentation in Geneva

The public is invited to a public discussion on levels of global peacefulness.

The Geneva Centre for Security Policy is hosting a presentation of the recently launched Global Peace Index 2019.

Created by the Institute for Economics and Peace, the report presents the most comprehensive data-driven analysis to date on trends in peace and its economic value and is the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness.

Serge Stroobants, Director of Operations for Europe and the MENA Region at the Institute for Economics and Peace will present the index findings, in discussion with Florence Foster, Representative, Peace and Disarmament at Quaker United Nations Office. Ms Annika Hilding Norbert, Head of Peace Operations and Peacebuilding, at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy will chair the event.
