The The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) has released a brand new, timely research product that will shows both exposure to risk, and the ability of nations and their resilience – as measured by Positive Peace – to deal with major impacts. The Ecological Threat Register (ETR) Report will highlight the global hotspots that are exposed to higher risk of ecological events, and measure ecological threats that countries are projected to face between now and 2050.

Keynote Speaker: Charles Allen, APM is the Director of Partnerships with the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP). These partnerships are strategic and grassroots partners inclusive of governments, non-government organizations, education organizations, service groups, and other institutes. Through partnerships, he is activating IEP’s Positive Peace framework globally.
Facilitator: Dr. Julian Droogan is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Security Studies and Criminology, Macquarie University where he is the Editor-in-Chief of the international peer reviewed Journal of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism (Routledge), Director of the terrorism research program, and director of internationalisation and outreach. Julian’s academic background encompasses the anthropology and history of religions, and he has spent years conducting fieldwork in the Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia.
